Polina Milena Smirnov
Calligraphy and printmaking artist
- 🇷🇺 Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia
- Novosibirsk Pottery
- Since 1980
- English, Ukrainian
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1980 at Novosibirsk Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I sing in a choir.
More about Polina
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Polina: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
