I taught early years at Oakwood Middle School in Yekaterinburg from 1983 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Polina: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
