Piumi Piumi Ekanayake
Photography and printmaking artist
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Studio
- Since 1978
- English, Sinhala, Spanish
I work mostly in photography, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1978 at Colombo Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Piumi
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Piumi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
