Piumi Kanchana Bandara

Choir director and singer

  • 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
  • Colombo Meadowbank Choir
  • Since 1995
  • English
I play gospel and guitar. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily. I'm still learning every day.

More about Piumi

I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
