For 24 years I was the chemistry teacher at Laredo High School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
