Pilar W. Vargas

34 years teaching computer science at San Diego University

  • 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
  • San Diego University
  • Since 1981
  • English, Spanish
I teach computer science at San Diego University since 1981, and supervised 48 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Pilar

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
