Pilar K. Ruiz
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Shreveport, Louisiana, United States
- Shreveport Repairs
- 1990 to 2016
- English, Spanish
I've worked in carpentry from 1990 to 2016. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,070 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Pilar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
