I've been a nurse for 21 years, most of them in school nursing at Hope Maternity Hospital in Tlaquepaque. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
