I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Pilar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Pilar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
