I've coached tennis at Cali Youth Club since 1998. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Pilar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Pilar: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
