Pilar A. Rojas
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- The Coyoacán Trades Guild
- Since 1983
- Spanish
I've worked in welding since 1983. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,460 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Pilar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
