Blacksmithing, done properly
- 🇿🇦 Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

- Since 1978
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1978. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,440 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Pieter
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Pieter: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
