I taught accounting and drama at Beacon Secondary School, Ekurhuleni. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Pieter
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
