I taught design and technology at Soweto Girls' School in Soweto from 1980 to 1988. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Pieter
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
