Piet Wouter Van der Meer
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Little Amsterdam Works
- Since 2007
- Dutch
I've worked in thatching since 2007. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 610 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
More about Piet
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
