I've coached rugby at Rotterdam Sports Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Piet: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Brasília.
