Piet Milan Smits
Teacher at Rotterdam Public School, loves French
- 🇳🇱 Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands
- Rotterdam Public School
- Since 1996
- English, Dutch
For 30 years I have been the French teacher at Rotterdam Public School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Piet
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Piet: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
