I'm a woodcarving artist based in Haarlem. I've been making things since 2003 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
What gifts mean to Piet: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
