I've been a nurse for 29 years, most of them in school nursing at Our Lady of Peace Children's Hospital in Breda. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
