Phương Bích Thai
Jazz player and teacher in Cần Thơ
- 🇻🇳 Cần Thơ, Cần Thơ, Vietnam
- Cần Thơ Riverside Ensemble
- 1981 to 1991
- English, Vietnamese, Spanish
I've played jazz from 1981 to 1991, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Phương: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
