I've been a nurse for 34 years, most of them in school nursing at Bayview Children's Hospital in Nuremberg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
