Peyton Scott
27 years teaching mathematics in Yonkers
- 🇺🇸 Yonkers, New York, United States
- Yonkers Academy
- Since 1987
- English
For 39 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Yonkers Academy. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Peyton
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
Subjects taught
What gifts mean to Peyton: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
