Peyton L. Whitaker
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Old Burnaby Shop
- Since 2002
- English
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 2002 in Burnaby and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Peyton: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
