Peyton K. Tillman
English literature and computer science teacher, Rockford
- 🇺🇸 Rockford, Illinois, United States
- Rockford Public School
- Since 1982
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Peyton
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me English literature in 1983 at Rockford Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.

my kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you. Greetings from İzmir.
