Peyton E. Nelson

Blacksmithing for 18 years in Brooklyn

  • 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
  • Atlas Workshop
  • 2000 to 2018
  • English
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 2000 in Brooklyn and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Peyton

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

Crafts and trades

What gifts mean to Peyton: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

You fixed our roof in 2007 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from San Nicolás de los Garza.
