Petru Ion Stan

Professor of astronomy, București Institute of Technology

  • 🇷🇴 București, București, Romania
  • București Institute of Technology

  • English, Romanian
I teach astronomy at București Institute of Technology since 1983, and supervised 56 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Petru: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
