I've volunteered with Beacon Food Bank from 2004 to 2018. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 12 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Petra: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
