Peter Wafula Maina
Mentor in design and teaching
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1978
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,690 people through Nairobi Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Peter: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
