I taught social studies at Northside Middle School in Manila from 2009 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Perla
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
