I'm a hockey coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 710 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Perla
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Perla: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
