Thatching, done properly
- 🇵🇭 Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines
- Starlight Workshop
- Since 1998
- English, Filipino
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1998 in Angeles and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Pedro
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Pedro: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
