For 26 years I was the biology teacher at Oakland Technical College. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
What gifts mean to Pedro: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
