Pedro Leonardo Carvalho

Taught social studies at Cedar Grove Academy

I taught social studies at Cedar Grove Academy in Guarulhos from 1999 to 2025. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Pedro

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Pedro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
