Pedro J. Torres
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Old Orchid Workshop
- Since 1993
- Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1993. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,060 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

What gifts mean to Pedro: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
