Youth baseball coach and mentor

I've coached baseball at San Diego Boxing Gym since 2001. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You coached me in 2022. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Edinburgh.
