I taught economics at Mount Pleasant Technical College in Onitsha from 1983 to 2005. Most days I taught Year 9, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
