Peace Hauwa Kalu
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- The Ikeja Works
- Since 1982
- English, Hausa, Spanish
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Ikeja, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
What gifts mean to Peace: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
