Payal W. Bedi

Chemistry and design and technology teacher, Cairns

  • 🇦🇺 Cairns, Queensland, Australia
  • Stonebridge Boys' School
  • Since 1993
  • English, Hindi
I teach chemistry at Stonebridge Boys' School in Cairns since 1993. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. Over the years I've had 1,750 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Payal

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
