I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Payal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Payal: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
