I've coached badminton at Pune Brookfield Swimming Club since 1989. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
More about Payal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Payal: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
