I've coached rowing at Surat Baobab Athletic Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Pavithra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
