Pavel Shakil Akter

18 years teaching geography in Khulna

  • 🇧🇩 Khulna, Khulna, Bangladesh
  • Khulna Grammar School
  • Since 1996
  • English
For 30 years I have been the geography teacher at Khulna Grammar School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Pavel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 1998 at Khulna Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
