Paul Mugisha Tumusiime
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Little Kasarani Workshop
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Swahili, French
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 2017 in Kasarani and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Paul: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
