Paul Lanre Eze

Youth cricket coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
  • Unity Football Club
  • 1981 to 2000
  • English, Yoruba
I coached cricket at Unity Football Club from 1981 to 2000. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.

More about Paul

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Paul: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
