Paul Kamau Mollel
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Machakos, Machakos, Kenya
- Machakos Works
- Since 2011
- English, Swahili
I've worked in weaving since 2011. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Paul: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
