I've been a nurse for 19 years, most of them in intensive care at Oakwood Health Center in Ikeja. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
