Paul Adewale Anyanwu
Brass band player and teacher in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Eastgate Band
- Since 1989
- English, Hausa
I play brass band and guitar. I started in 1989 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Paul
I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Paul: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
