Patrizia Stefania Barone
Biology and chemistry teacher, Latina
- 🇮🇹 Latina, Lazio, Italy
- Latina Academy
- 1989 to 2014
- Italian
I taught biology at Latina Academy in Latina from 1989 to 2014. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 550 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Patrizia
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Patrizia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
