For 23 years I was the early years teacher at Bergamo Grammar School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
