I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Patrick: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
